Welcome to Mrs. Ayala’s College & Career Readiness (CCR) & Data Entry class!    

Each class is a semester Career & Technology course for 8th grade students.

*College & Career Readiness-(Fall)Designed to develop students’ career and college readiness skills through the study of technology applications. Students assess their roles in society, identify their roles as workers, and complete an exploration of the 16 career clusters. Information will be shared about college and career readiness, to include potential career choices and the education needed to enter those careers.

*Data Entry-(Spring) Students will learn the proper keyboarding techniques to input data when using the computer. The students will refine their work habits, improve techniques, speed and accuracy in the production of business documents.  Students will enhance their reading, writing, computing, communication and reasoning skills and apply them to the business environment.
