I graduated with a Business Degree from Laredo State University and worked in the business industry for several years.  Later, I attended Texas A&M International University and received my teaching certificate in Mathematics.  I started teaching at Trautmann Middle (UISD) and later moved to San Antonio where I taught at Tejeda Middle School (NEISD).  Throughout the years, I was able to also obtain a Spanish EC-12 Teaching Certification and an ESL certification.  This is my 17th year teaching Mathematics and I am happy to have returned to Laredo and be part of a great school, Elias Herrera Middle School – Hawk Nation!
